    2019 Smart Campus East Conference

    April 24th - 25th, 2019
    Philadelphia, PA

    About the Event

Just as cities across the world have recognized the need to leverage technology to provide a sustainable pathway – educational institutions are doing the same.

Smart cities use data and technology to create efficiencies and enhance the quality of life. Similarly, campuses should also be using data and technology to improve operations across the campus in order to engage with, and help students.

Campus technology is no longer a science, but rather a masterful creation of seamless technologies that attract students, help students, places students, and connects with a global society at a competitive price.

One campus cannot implement every existing technology, nor should it. Every campus should understand the technology that is available, in order to make decisions that are right for their campus. Additionally, a smart campus is not strictly about technology, but rather selecting the right technology, maximizing the use of systems, and connecting the campus to ensure that the entire campus is working towards a common vision.

This conference will provide you information on smart technologies, data, security, and interoperability. This conference will help educate you by showing you what other campuses are doing, what technology exists, and how various technologies can be used in order to help you make informed decisions on how to develop a smarter campus.

There will be at least 88 smart cities across the globe by 2025, designed for long term sustainability. These smart cities are no different than designing a smart campus. Every campus has hotels (dorms), restaurants (cafeteria services), police departments (security), etc.
